The Process
You can send us your high quality artwork, we can then use that artwork to create a manufacturing file suitable to produce your stickers. We do hold your file so that we can use it any reorders in the future. We can also produce or reproduce high quality artwork if you need us to create it for you!
Design
We print on our HP latex wide printer, it uses solvent free inks that are dry directly off the machine.
It prints on a roll of material so it is most suited to large runs of stickers, however we do add small quantities and orders together to cater for small and large orders.
Printing
This is a process where we add a second layer of clear vinyl over the printed vinyl.
It protects further to extend your prints longevity, it is really only required for long term stickers or if they are to be used outside where protection from the suns UV rays is required .
If this is a chosen option we cold laminate with your chosen finish Matt,Gloss,Textured, or Anti-Graffiti Laminates
Laminating
Once we have created a production layout, part of that is to create a contour cut for your stickers, so we can cut out complex sticker outlines.
Put through our specialist plotters the printed substrate is cut through the layer of vinyl leaving the backing uncut (kiss cut) and using registation marks placed on the vinyl during the printing process the plotter follows the outline of any shape sticker or label.
After cutting all waste is removed and if required they finished products are either trimmed or rolled for delivery-collection or further processing.

For complex cut shapes an application paper is stuck onto the face of the sticker. This is to hold the shape or text together and allow single easy application and positioning when you come to fit them.

The photos (left) show three of the processes used in the manufacture of these stickers PRINTING - CONTOUR CUTTING and WEEDING (the waste) - APPLICATION PAPER
These where produced from customer supplied artwork with our production layout, printed on self adhesive vinyl with our HP Latex, then contour cut on Summa plotter, weeded by hand then backed with an application paper to make them easy to fit (without damaging the spiders legs) before being cut into individual stickers and sent to the customer.
